OK, do you have a better proposal?

Objectively speaking, Central Asia hasn't had as much to contribute universally as, say, Europe and North America. So they haven't had as much of a need for a universal language. Those regions are vast, but they don't comprise as much population as Europe, North America, and India. And what foreign language do you think the Chinese are learning?

English is the most universal language we have, and I'm saying we'd all be better off if it became even more widely spoken and understood. Do you not agree?
